The appearence of Evangelina Carrozo at the EC-Latinoamericana summit in Vienna on May 2006 made us realize that we might be dealing with similar problems world wide right now.
The paper mill being constructed in Fray Bentos, Uruguay in May 2006 is planned in part by the same Finnish company Jaakko Pöyry Oy that plans a waste and garbage incinerator for a paper mill in the little villages of Pitten and Seebenstein, Austria.
This website is dedicated to documenting the issues around the construction of the garbage incinerator, civil resistance against it and toxic emissions in general.
